SP Dental Care is a long established dental practice located in Millig Street, Helensburgh. Situated in a residential area, we offer convenient on street parking and easy access to the surgery.
The majority of our treatments are provided on a private basis although some NHS treatment is available under certain circumstances.
 
Our highly experienced team aim to make your trip to the surgery as pleasant an experience as possible. We provide a wide range of high quality dental treatments to patients of all ages. From regular routine examinations to more advanced cosmetic dentistry or restoring dental implants, we aim to tailor our treatment plans to meet all individual dental needs in a friendly and relaxed environment.

Irene has been with the practice since January 2022.

She has worked in Helensburgh for many years, most recently as a receptionist at the medical centre.

In her spare time Irene enjoys going to concerts and spending time with friends.

If you have any issues with appointments at the practice then Irene is the person to speak to.

Steven Phillips

Steven Phillips

Steven graduated from Glasgow University in 2002 and then completed 2 years of training in multiple dental centres in Edinburgh. This culminated in successful completion of the MFDS examination at the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh.  He then worked in both NHS and private practice before moving to Helensburgh in 2012.  Steven enjoys all aspects of dentistry but particularly enjoys putting anxious patients at ease.  In his spare time he enjoys running and spending time with his wife and 2 young daughters.

Isobel has been with the practice since 1991 and is a highly experienced dental nurse. She knows all there is to know about the practice and has enjoyed getting to know most of our patients really well over the years.  In her spare time she enjoys walking and spending time with her family. She also loves to visit her home in Harris whenever she gets some time off.

Celia Wakeling

Celia is a highly experienced dental hygienist who has worked with the practice for many years. She works with the practice part-time and is currently working with us on a Wednesday.  As most of our regular patients know, Celia is an Elvis fanatic and has visited Graceland on several occasions.
